Angela Yvonne is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Holistic Health Practitioner, certified by the California Board of Acupuncture and Nationally Certified in Massage and Body Work. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in child development and family studies at Point Loma Nazarene Universityand then went on to complete her Holistic Health Practitioner hours and Master’s degree in Acupuncture at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
Angela has experience treating a variety of imbalances, including digestive disorders, headaches (migraines, tension, sinus), ob/gyn issues (infertility, PMS, and menopause), and all types of pain related to arthritis, chronic and acute injury, fibromyalgia, and tendonitis. She has worked in a number of integrative settings providing complementary treatments to patients receiving western medical care. Angela has also completed extracurricular training in detoxification, weight loss, and nutritional counseling.Before beginning acupuncture school, Angela worked as an adoption social worker at the County of San Diego.
It was during this time that she worked closely with several couples that had battled with infertility and became interested in health modalities that could treat these families. Angela has treated a number of men and women successfully for a variety of fertility issues, undergoing both natural and assisted fertility treatment.
